The Narrow Margin: The Battle of Britain and the Rise of Air Power 1930-1940
Published in Hardcover by Smithsonian Institution Press (September, 1990)

Never, have so many , owed so much , to so fewNever in the field of human conflict ,have so many, owed so much, to so few. That's how Sir Winston Churchill, remembered the brave pilots of The Royal Air Force, for their courage during the Battle of Britain in 1940. This excellent book tells the stories warts and all about how britain just survived this great air battle , which was intended to destroy the RAF prior to invasion by Nazi armed forces in operation Sealion 1940. This book was also the basis for the film Battle of Britain. It details all the intrigue behind the walls of RAF fighter command between Dowding and Park on one side and Leigh-Mallory and Bader on the other side in a controversy about tacticts and stratergy. (it's a wonder the RAF won)

Natalie Wood: A Biography in Photographs
Published in Paperback by Doubleday (May, 1986)
Average review score:

Amazing NatalieWhen one thinks of Natalie Wood, tragedy comes to mind. Yet, Natalie lived an incredible life of love and good fortune. Natalie Wood: A Biography In Photographs is a testimony to that life. This book includes pictures from Natalie at every stage in her life. Regarded as one of the most beautiful women in screen history, Natalie began her career as a mere child. Her first well known role was the child in Miracle on 42nd Street. She could have been typecast as a child actor but instead broke out into a tumultous role in Rebel Without a Cause. This book contains several candid and studio pictures of her adolescent career. During this time period, she met Robert Wagner who she later married twice. Photos of their weddings and life together are a main focus of this book. Natalie's other marriage and children are photographed with her as well. Throughout Natalie's career, her look changed considerably. There is a color section showing her progression of age and fashion sense. Natalie matured onscreen unlike anyone else. She had a very successful career that peaked its highest in the 1960s. This pictorial biography shows many of the roles that made her the movie star she continues to be today.

Natural Born Trouble (Silhouette Special Edition, No 1156)
Published in Paperback by Harlequin (February, 1998)

The Next Generation comes into its ownI read the first installment of Sherryl Woods' "And Baby Makes Three" series, so I was very excited to see the next generation up for some romance. As usual, Ms. Woods does not disappoint. Readers get to revisit the Adams of the first series--meddling, as usual--AND enjoy seeing their children find their way through their own romantic entanglements. Passion and humor are well balanced, and Ms. Woods pays very careful attention to each character's history. For instance, Dani's relationship with Duke's twin boys is all the more poignant because of her status as a stepchild. Looking forward to pairing off the rest of the family!

Nature Hide and Seek Oceans
Published in Hardcover by (November, 1989)
Average review score:

The whole family loves this book.We have the Oceans and Jungles books in this series and I want them all. My 2 year old son adores them. He finds new animals all the time and likes to hear all about them. I think the books are great because they combine the fun of a flap book with the mystery of a puzzle. They are beautiful to look at and lots of fun. I wish they'd come back in print, though I imagine they are expensive to manufacture. We think they're worth it!

My son's Fav book (1 year old)I can't say enough about this marvelous book .... I've been reading this book to him since he was only 11 months old and every day he still "asks" me to read it to him at least 3 times! The story itself is engaging and the carefully crafted illustrations by Clare Beaton are beautiful !
I would highly recommend this book for any parent to encourage their children to pick up a book more often.... I am buying 2 extra copies for my friends with newborns!
